The project examines the ephemeral still lives and elements that I find in the debris of daily chaos. With humor, I am photographing things made by accidents in a street, public spaces, and nature as well as unexpected situations. I see these seemingly banal, fleeting objects as artifacts that reflect creativity, ingenuity, and a kind of sense of amateur DIY activity. I perceive these random “sculptures” and “installations” created by human intervention as ’ready-made’, that are transformed from a purely functional object into a piece of art. I am fascinated by mistakes and imperfections that someone has tried to repair back to their original condition or attempted to improve them, and which breaks the everyday life and sterility of our streets.
In the second part of my work, I am working with installations. They are build of diverse found materials like pieces of wood, stones, and bricks. The installations are imitating the forms and elements encountered in urban space during my walks and research. Altogether, the photographs and the created "constructions" form a dynamic and unique installation. For each show, I always try to find new ideas, new supports and show the photographs differently so they correspond to the given space and context.
